Yeah he did teach those guys, but Vai and Satch don't Shred. First of all, shredders are known for their nps rates. Notes per second, and how fast they can pick. Second of All Satch doesn't really pick too much. Vai, Maybe he does a little shredding. Shredders are Rusty Cooly, and Marty Freidman, There is a big difference than playing fast within a lead, like Satch and Vai do, than shredding.
