We are always trying to make Guitar Tricks easy for everyone to use. This is harder than it sounds, though. There are so many different combinations of computers/browsers/software looking at this same site.
Here are the basic things you need to have working:
You must be logged in to get lessons: This section tests whether you are logged in or not.
LOGIN TEST RESULTS:
FAILURE. You are not logged in.
You need flash. Adobe Flash is a browser plugin that is required for our video player, mp3 player, jam station, and flash tab. If you don't have flash, a lot of the important features of the Guitar Tricks site won't work for you.
You can quickly install the safe, free Adobe Flash plugin here. Flash is used throughout the internet, it is useful, free and safe.
If you don't see a video player right below this text, you need to install flash.
You might want an mp3 player. You can use our flash player to hear our lessons, but if you want to download them, you will need an mp3 player.
If you don't have an mp3 player, there is a good free mp3 player at winamp.
Activate your account. You can use our site without clicking on the link in the activation email we sent you. However, you can't post to the forums or use the chat until you activate.
If you can't find your activation email, check your "spam" folder. We work with the major ISPs to keep our email out of the spam folder, but sometimes it happens.
