Bypass |
Switching the guitar signal onto a route where it is not processed by the effects pedal. If a guitarist is playing a solo section with a delay pedal switched on, for example, pressing the bypass button allows for a smooth transition back into the ordinary sound. Likewise, if a distortion pedal is being used, a bypass function allows for a quick change to a clean sound. |
