May I ask the point in trying to make the longest thread? I think that we should limit threads to meaningful or interesting things. Seriously, I come here for 3 reasons:

1) To learn new things about the guitar - mostly to learn new techniques/ideas, advanced theoretical things, exercises I may not have tried, or just a cool riff or chord progression.

2) To help others learn about the guitar - whenever I see a question i respond if I have something meaningful and new to add to responses already there.

3) To relax and hear/tell stories about being a musician, or just other cool things in general.

It's somewhat discouraging to come to the site, search for new posts, and the only thing is someone trying to make the longest thread ever...

Hammurabi has gained some favorable attention
That's 'hear'. As in hear ye, hear ye. Just a pet peeve of mine.
