First I would like to say hello. I'm new on this board! Beside that, I will appologise from spelling failures and incorrect english. I come from Denmark, so my english is not the best.
Back to the subjekt: I am 16 years old and I have been playing guitar for about 3 years. In the last year I have bought several effect-pedals, and I like them alot.
BUT! Something i really need now is some kind of delay! (I've already got Cry Baby, Big Muff, DS-1 Distortion, OD-3 Overdrive and CS-3 Compression Sustainer)
I have looked at you guys as a guest the last week or two, and quite many of you seems to have quite some experience.
Now the big question: Is there a delay-pedal, witch sounds so much better that the others you have tried?
The price doesn't matter. But it has to sound good!

My personal favorite is the BOSS DD-3. Its alot more simple than alot of other delays, and it sounds good, not alot of extra noise either.

Unless its a high end analog delay pedal, delay is delay IMO.
Later! \m/

I have had Boss DD-3s, DD-5s and DD-6s as well as a Maxx Delay.
The DD5 or 3 were my fave. I don't really like the DD-6 and the Maxx pedal was just sad !
I had a friend with a Digitech delay which was nicer than any of the ones I had (jealous, who me)!

OK!
I've just bought a DD-3, after trying DD-5 and DD-6.
There were not the great differences between thoose pedals, but I found the DD-3 more easy and to use. It was a little bit cheaper too.
Do anyone of you have a great setup for the DD-3?
I've found one myself (think it could be useful for solos and riff's), but I would like to hear what you guys think.
E.LEVEL: 9 o'clock
F.BACK: none
D.TIME: About 10 o'clock
MODE: S.50ms
Thanks for the help!

I've never used one.
Personally I'm a big fan of the effects boards in general. You can get all tje effects and have the option of customizing them, as well as cabinet emulation.
Just a thought.
Oh yeah, I like some slight delay on my soloing. About .5ms or so.
