ice9 has made some friends around here
Im new to recording but not new to guitar playing and theory.Im in a rut that i cant break and i think maybe some recording tricks can help me out of the slump.
basically heres what gear im looking for.....
I need something that will record exactly what is coming from my headphones on my gnx1 processor.
Ive got a boom box cd player plugged in it and have my guitar sound mixed into that.So basically im jamming along with songs from a cd and i want to go back and pull out the best sections of the improvised songs and then blend them into the best improvs of the rest of the song.
I will need something that can later be transfered to the computer for burning it to a blank cd.i dont think the sound from a tascam tape 4 track would transfer to cd but i know im proly wrong.
Please direct me to the right equipment i need to buy and how to go about doing this.
thanx
