I just got the new album, How the West was Won and it kicks ass. I think that this album was well worth the wait it took to come out, I know this is only a "live" album, but I think that it is awesome. What do you all think?

iamthe_eggman knows a thing or two about guitar playing
I thought the album was great, but the whole "3 CD" deal was a little misleading... it's more like a live CD with two bonus CDs. The two other CDs are also great, but they both have only 4 tracks each which was a little disappointing.

I just got the CD Friday. I think it is the best Led Zep CD I have, and that's only because I don't have Led Zeppelin IV. I think THAT is their best CD ever. Now anyway, I love the 'Heartbreaker' solo on How the West Was Won. He really tears up on there. And I like the Moby Dick 18-minute drum solo. Now if only I had a DVD player, I'd go out and buy the DVD too!!

To what eggman says: Yes, the other CD's are only 4 tracks each, but a 25-minute Dazed & Confused is the 1st track on disc one, and a 23-minute Whole Lotta Love is the 1st track on the third disc. And hey, I paid $17, so what do you expect? Their whole 1972 tour?!?!?

Swedish newspapers gave very high rate to Zepps new album. Aftonbladet (biggest national newspapers) wrote a huge article too about the band.

Havenīt seen our heard it yet but I liked Song Remains The Same video and the critics say that How West Was Won is even better.

I love immigrant song so much.... it makes me proud to be of Swedish descent (like i wasn't already). Probably part of the reason the Swedish media loved it...
