Can I just point out to all you RATM fans, that there is another famous band Rage, its a German metal band. So when your abreiveating RATM, you may wanna give this some though, cos it sometimes confused me.

RATM isn't even a band anymore so it doesn't matter. Its all about Audioslave now, which they rock.

Rage is a very cool band. They where infact very pissed that RATM kinda stole their name rage has formed in 1986 while RATM started 1991/2. Plus i´m not a real fan of RATM´s music.

Rage on the other hand rocks big time. Their album "lingua mortis" kinda changed metal-history and layed the path for bands like rhapsody who do alot of symphonic stuff.

Rage Against The Machine are great. I love espacially they first album. Haven´t heard RAGE yet but I´ve heard that they are good and that theyr axe man kicks a$$.

It's because most people called Rage Against the Machine Rage, but I still wouldn't get pissed off at that.

HEY! They're both great bands. Tom Morello is one of the most innovative guitarists since Hendrix IMHO (waiting for someone to prove me wrong...) and Rage's symphonic stuff is amazing.
