Normally I run my Ovation through one of the channels on my PA when gigging and it doesn't sound all that bad. I've never used a DI box, though, and was wondering if anyone could recommend one and maybe tell a little bit about what to expect from the sound.

The Baggs parametric DI is suppose to be the best. I have a my Ovation equipped with a Fishman Matrix pickup running thru a Fishman
model G preamp to a ZOOM 504 to a cheap DI then the sound board. Works great. I wouls look at LR Baggs if all you want is a DI.
