Acoustic Instrumental in an Alternate Tuning

Hi GT listeners.

Acoustic instrumental: Journey to An Arid Land

I started composing this track a couple of days ago and finished yesterday, so I decided to record using a (crappy) webcam and out of my amp into the PC mic input, which normally I don't do. The trend these days seems to be to have some sort of video of yourself I guess to prove that you are actually playing... That being said my apologies in advance for the low quality of this video...

I still haven't quite figured out how to control the input level to Windows Movie Maker from my mic input setup, so you may have to increase the volume a bit and you may also notice some noise/hum in the background of this recording. Once I get a better camera I will record the audio simultaneously for projects like these via Cubase - that is on my other (studio/garage) PC.

I am still learning the piece myself so it's not perfect, but I hope you enjoy it anyway and I welcome any comments or criticism.

Cheers,

Karl

Nice one sir. What i would recommend is practicing the chord transitions. It's limping a bit on that part. MY oppinion
But it is very good sir, very good.

Thanks. And yes you are right about the transitions. I will eventually post a decent recording of this piece (just audio) played the way that I (and I guess you) imagine this as a polished performance.

Beautyful

But audio and video have poor quality.
