Hello everyone.

My name is Robby, I'm from Rhode Island, but been in South Carolina two years.. I've finally decided to step up to the plate and learn to play guitar, after telling myself I would for a few years.

I tried self teaching at first, but wasn't getting very far. I tried the game Rocksmith, but it turns out that is a waste of money unless you've already got a good idea of what you're doing. My friends then recommended youtube videos, but those weren't really teaching too well. I'd almost lost hope until I stumbled upon this site. I'm learning a lot quicker than I thought I would here, thanks to the great instructors Now my hopes are refilled again.

In general, I like just about any style of music, although my main interests are Rock and Metal. I'll play just about anything I can learn, and from the looks of it, there will be no shortage of learning here!
