Anyone got any tips or tricks for a guitar player with little hands and short fingers? I've been playin' for a while now but, I still have trouble. Any help would be appreciated.

I've got fairly little hands... um... I'm ok with them, cos they're literaly like rubber... um what do you have a problem with in particular? If stretching for certain chords is a problem, just keep trying, your hands should "stretch" gradually (but if it starts to hurt stop and try again later)... I mean with time it gets better...
If your really find it a major problem then maybe you should consider guitars with a shorted scale lenght....

I once saw Satch's hands, they are ridiculously small, as Shawn LANE's...
Steve VAI has HUGE hands (he looks like an alien) but he does stretches that you would do with your pinky with his third finger...So he doesn't really use it.

yeah.... my friend steve.p (who posted a few times here and then didn't bother anymore) is 6foot 5; (I'm 5foot 8'so we look quite funny walking round together around town), his hands are MASSIVE compared to mine, but I can strtech and play stuff like he does...

I had a look round for shorter scale length guitars, the Japanies fenders used to have smaller scale lengths, but now they're made in Korea and not very good...

Advice is cheap, especially mine

As you can see from the above posts, hand size is irrelevant, don't look for limitations, everbody has a few, Livewire have you ever heard of Django Reinhardt? His left hand was disfigured in a fire and he could only fret notes with his index and middle fingers, and anyone who has ever heard him will tell you he was amazing , he is a legend, I've seen a guy who plays entirely with his toes, don't worry about hand size, the music ain't got nothing to do with it.............
