My 1st post

Hi everyone. My name is Mike and I love the guitar. I started playing when I was 15, stopped (for some unknown reason) for 20 yrs. & now I'm back (for about a yr.) better than ever. My 1st go around I didn't bother with music theory - I just played by ear. This time I'm learning everything.

As far as my playing, I have the dexterity and speed to play any song out there. Now what I need is knowledge.

My newest one's an Italia Speedster, so that's the one I'm using most right now.

Hey rushfloydmmafan,
Welcome back to guitar, and welcome to the GT forum.

Seems like you have a good handle on it, but let us know if you need any help.

Here is a tutorial on the site that will help you with understanding some music theory and how you can apply it to your playing by GT instructor Christopher Schlegel;
