Yesterday was my nineteenth birthday and I received a 482 Sonic Maximizer from my parents. My God! This thing is outstanding! If you have the money and feel like there's something missing from your tone... this is it!

Call me a cynic - but how is that Sonic Maximizer any better that just adjusting the tone controls on your amp?

I don't see how that thing can help that much.

Maybe they added a compressor inside.

The sonic maximizer is really alot more then just a tone control device.

Have a look at the BBE website, there it's explained what it does.
