I'd say you're pretty good for only a year of playing, yeah. Nothing spectacular, but you at least seem to get the whole improvisation thing.

I replied over at Youtube as well....but Yeah....Very nice, IMO.
Your grasp of the important things like intonation, timing, etc....really make it much more listenable than most of the 1st, 2nd & 3rd year-type players who only want play endless 64th notes widdlies, with no real rhyme or reason to them.
LOL...No knock against shredding It's just nice to hear some pretty mature playing by someone so new to the instrument.
