Hey peeps, what's the difference between Cubasis VST and Cubase VST?

Just the number of features or tracks?

Welllllll...

I use Cubase 5 (VST 32) and i used to have the so called Cubasis... Cubasis is more or less just a light-version of Cubase. Cubasis has.. well - nothing and Cubase has everything *L* - and Cubasis is Freeware (i think).
And (iīm not sure) but i think Cubasis is MIDI only - no recording (might be wrong, but my Cubasis was Midi only)

Cheerz

Cubasis is crap (if u ask me) - Cubase (especially the VST 32 version) is cool for recording on yer PC.. but the BEST thingy is Logic Audio Platinum 4.x ! This stuff realy kix ass!

Whoops, that's what I meant to ask - Is Cubase all it's cracked up to be . . . ?

How does it compare to programs like Vegas Audio and CoolEdit?

I have never tried either of those u just mentioned.
But i know alot of studio-freaks and they all agree that Cubase and Logic are the two leading products for Harddisk recording. I personally prefer Logic .. but i still sometimes use Cubase - .. say .. do you have ICQ or MSN?
Maybe we could discuss this "live" *LOL*
