Chris
Let me try this again i answered this once today don't,
know what happened to my reply mabee i screwed it up ,
useing the quote i just caught it.(sorry)
Anyway i'll check out the guys you mentioned but i,ve,
heard most all of them one time or another except,
Scott henderson i think!
about Frank gambale at G.I.T., he was awarded Student,
of the year honors ,and in 1983 he was offered a teaching,
job, which he held for three years .
While Frank was a student at G.I.T., he penned his first,
instruction book ,(Speed Picking)which details his approach
to sweep picking. In 1987 ,he essued The Frank Gambale,
Technique book.
I did check out the feb issue on GP That was a great,
Column on (Charlie "Bird" Parker plus a great mp3 sound,
file great job Chris.I sent you e-mail about the Kenny,
Burrell cds did you get the email? if not i'll send it,
again.I'll get back with you on some of these great ,
guitarist's . But below Frank gambales web page plus,
a Roy Buchanan site, Roy hung his self in a jail cell.
Was one great tele picker a forgoten great guitarist!

I guess i like em all more if they play with a good feel,
while playing thier guitars.

Mark later Chris!

Okay skee1

"i" in first person is "I"
can'nt is actually can't
No comma needed between you and guys...or between in and while.
Typeing is spelling Typing.
alot is actually two words... a lot.

Ha ha...just giving you a hard time...I actually really appreciate a lot (notice that was 2 words) of you feedback. Keep up the good work!

scott henderson

scott was the original guitar player for the chick corea electric band. He left after the 1st album over personal differences w/chick, he was then replaced by Frank Gambale. Scott heads up his own band now called Tribal Tech, he's also done a couple of blues albums under the name Bad Dog (? I think that was the name of the band) there pretty kicking, the 1st one won a grammy for best blues album of the year (98?)

If you want interesting, check out the Liquid Tension Project with John Pettrucci. He's got the drummer from Dream Theatre (Portnoi? . . . don't know how to spell it) on there with him.

Insane rhythms, ripping licks, and unexpected modulations. It'll keep you on your toes.
