new lyrics...

i've been staring at a wrong way sign
wonder if it's this way i had in mind
which way does the right go
back to where i am? who knows
when green means stop and red means go
then how can you say you know
you don't...

when jimi says six is nine
it's alright with him, then i don't mind
when up is going south and north below
what then does it mean when i say no
during winter where do the birds go?
and how can you say you know
you don't...

coming up to the crossroad
the wrong way sign tells me no
but if six is nine and left is right
i suppose im left on track to head back home
with no direction or heading, this day or night
i'm left staring at a wrong way sign
which way to go
don't say you know
you don't.

That's the only part I really didn't like. For one thing, it's very similar to the actual line in "If 6 Was 9," and I find that a little too derivative. Also, you use the "six is nine" reference later in the song, (where I think it fits much better,) and I don't think there's any need to bring it up twice.

I would try and change that, but the rest seems pretty good to me.
