I have just started to play metal after playing blues & jazz, can any tell me some good songs to start with that arn't to hard but will help me alot?

Yeah Sabbath is excellent when starting out. After all they did write every good riff ever used. Motorhead's another real good place to start.

Old Metallica is where I started with Metal. That and some old Sabbath. It'll teach ya the basics of Metal rhythym

Yeah... Motorhead, and Iron Maiden, man. They're all good places to start out. Anthrax, Megadeth, and Slayer too.
