I Can Never Find The Right Guitar

i like so many guitars but then there are little things that just turn me off of the guitar like the s series ibanez guitars i liked them until i realized thy only have 22 frets i dont really know if it wil make a difference because i use up to the 24th fret but not much

These are the things i am looking for in a guitar:

-24 Frets
-H/S/H pickup setup
-Quilted or flamed maple
-I can never decide if i want to get a guitar with or without a floydrose but im more for floyd i like the S series bridge with the bearings cuz it should stay in tune better right?

If anyone has any suggestions or anything they want to say post it

They're awesome guitars.

I hate Floyds.

Get one without a Floyd.

maybe i'm looking at the obvious here, but what about the ibanez RG series? it seems to fit your criteria.

and they do have models with flamed tops.

edit: i just noticed the models that are flamed don't have the middle single coil pickup...but if i'm not mistaken, i believe the models that have two pickups still have a 5 way switch and a certain coil-tapped setup for the three middle positions?

Warmoth Guitars can do some custom work. ESP does custom. come to think of it, a lot of companies offer custom work now. i would also check ebay. if you go with a floyd rose trem, i suggest putting in a tremsetter to help keep it stable. you don't have to, it's just that i have used a guitar with one and it rocks. really keeps it stable when doing bends and whammy work. another thing to consider is scale length. the longer the scale, the farther apart the frets are. this might be something that might hurt your playing. i like the 25" scale that alot of people are making now. gives you the best of 2 worlds (24 3/4 shortness with 25 1/2's deeper tone - sort of ). that's about all i can tell you at this point.

well the other problem is that they lack the ergonomically pleasing shape of the S series (you really have to play one to understand fully). Also, the S series use a mahogany body that gives it a phatter, more LP-like tone than the basswood they use in the RG.
