New here!

Hey guys! My name is Lacey and I'm 14 years old. (15 in December!) I only have one hobby right now, and that's riding and showing horses. I am hoping to learn how to play the electric guitar for fun. I've wanted to learn how to play for a long time now, and with Christmas coming up, I figured there was some hope for me to get a guitar. I look forward to talking to you guys and learning more about guitar, because I'm clueless. Glad to be here!

Willdridge eventually gets it mostly right
Another welcome to GT! You're definately in the right place to start learning. Whatever kind of "hobby guitar" your interested in getting into, post a message and you'll be sure to get a wealth of helpful hints and advice.

Check out this link below when you do get a guitar to help you along.

http://www.guitartricks.com/guide.php

Hope you get that guitar, if you want any ideas for what sort of thing to get, post a thread in "Gear" saying what kind of style you're interested in and everyone'll be glad to help.

ETA: I'm so excited because I already knew how to do a few things in those beginner lessons! Yay!
