Starting out on a Guitar!!!

Hey guys havent posted for quite a while as i have just taken on a programmin crouse of which is bloody hard, but more to the point i have noticed lately there are a few strange posts. im not critszing any body fo rmakign a post. Because evey body has to start some where but i guess the point im trying to get across is, there is No easy way to learn the guitar. Sure there are tips and the forums are here to help you become the next Mr hendrix but, there are just silly post asking how to do the basics and the only way to do the basics is to practise your ass off. So there your playing the guitar and you hit a wall just knock the F+£$er down. The best way to get pass somethign is to Practice practice prasctice!!!!!! All the Time

Have fun -Jk-

Grambo eventually gets it mostly right
yes PARROT fashion is the answer, once I've learnt a riff or a song in my mind I have to continually repeat it, sometimes for hours - it doesn't happen overnight, but everytime I pick up the guitar it seems just a touch easier

Lingering notes

well dude if ya mean a dive bomb then you have to locking tremlo, if u have this then as far as im aware you wack out a harmonic if you want it high, and abuse the whammy bar . ANd also it depends on your set up amd guitar pedals etc on how long the notes lingers for!!!! Hope tht helped
