I just got a 50th Anniversary Fender Japanese Tele, and am totally blown away. I bought it mainly to sell because I got it for $400 and can easily get a grand off of it, but after about an hour I decided that this is a serious keeper. Mine is the rarest and coolest (gaudiest?) of the anniversary teles, it's this cool obsidian black with a gunmetal-colored pearloid pickguard and binding, gold hardware, maple neck, and special pickups (I don't have any further info on them, but they have more chunk than most teles, and help would be appreciated).

This is definitely the nicest sounding, playing and looking guitar i've ever picked up. I'd take this over the nicest PRS any day (I don't like PRS's much anyway), it just has so much soul behind it.
Anyone else ever played one of these? What did you think?
