Oh, Not Another Newbie!
Hi! Just a quick intro. I was given a acoustic guitar for my Birthday about 4 years ago. After 3 months of frustration (not to mention 4 children in a small house) I packed it away until recently when I 're-discovered' it during our move to a larger home.
Well, to make a boring story short (!) I fixed a broken string, tuned it with a tuner my wife purchased yesterday and browsed thru this site to see how helpful it would be.
WOW! This site is truly amazing and very, very helpful! I'm so disapointed with myself for droping my lessons for these past few years... However, with the help I have found here I am sure to see my dream of bplaying guitar will finaly come true!

If you've got the ambition for it and a moderate tolerance for random b.s. strewn about then you should fit right in.

Oh yes!! Another newbie to feel good for, act like I own this site, generally feel superior for! (Hey, newbie, have you checked out my number of posts? BRRRRR!!!!
Welcome dude! You'll like it here. Not just to learn guitar, but to generally hand out. If this crowd could be congregated into a pub every evening, that would be one hell of a place to hang out. The owner would get filthy rich, coz no one would ever miss a night!
