Soldano samples for PRS Player

Please do not move this thread into the listening post.

I do not want any crits of this track !

PRS Player, here is the sample of Soldano setting 5b off the pod pro.
www.trinkit.net/guitartricks/stuff.mp3

I used a PRS (bridge) for the bit of Motorhead and the pents up until Crazy train which is a Jackson (bridge) followed by some pents using first the neck and then the bridge PU of my LP.

Hope this helps !!!

I haven't compressed or EQ ed this at all so it is a bit rough round the edges !

Hey Doc, thanks alot! I'm gonna check it out as soon as i get home. I would go ahead and listen, but there's only one problem.....I don't have any speakers on my comp. here at work ! How sad is that...

BTW, what pickups do the Jackson and the Gibby have? My PRS has Dragon II's and my Schecter has a SD JB in the bridge and a 59 in the neck.

Isn't the Soldano model actually based on one of the XR preamps?

The CE24 has a stock neck HFS, the Jackson DKMG has stock EMG Hz's played with no added boost and the LP is a re-issue 1960 classic which has 490R and 498T pickups which I swapped for the originals. The stock PUs are a little hotter but I prefer the 490R and 498T pickups which I used to have on my studio.

The Soldano is modeled after the X88 preamp I think.

I haven't touched the EQ on the Pod (this was very difficult) so these samples are striate up, no tiding up.

I did tweak the digital out on the pod as I recorded the guitar using the S/PDIF out into the D1200 which bypasses the korgs Pres.

cool man I hope it is useful.
Oh yes the sample is about 3mb !

is this your personal soldano setting, or is it the factory soldano preset?

Cool, I hope turning it into an MP3 has not ruined it.

I used quite a high bit rate (192k bps).
