I downloaded the free version of Sony Acid and I use it with drum loops to make tracks, works pretty well.

Backing Track Software

Hi Neal,

I heard "Garageband" is very good if you have an IPAD or apple computer. What is your opinion?

What is important to me is it is easy to use, sounds good, no spyware, and fairly inexpensive. Don't need anything near professional quality, or that I have to spend days programming.

Any other suggestions?

-Jeff

GarageBand is definitely a very good choice if you're on a mac/iPad! I've used it a lot in the past.

For Windows, I don't know, but Sony Acid sounds good?

Garage band

I have an ipad but being retired never used a backing track program, any tips on how?
Im getting older by the day and a quick fix would be handy, im thinking of joining guitar tricks but it seems better suited to electric's rather than accoustic, which im learning..?
