Night Owls / Little River

Our Drummer is a huge Little River Band Fan; so he managed us to get one done :-)

Initially I was not very impressed about that song (with the expection of the outstanding Vocals). But as we dig into at rehearsals, it catches somehow my soul. Playing it with one guitar, some rearrangements were needed.

The sounds on the guitar was challenging due to a lot of effects I have used (don't hope too much).

The recording at our rehearshal room was one Take - no fake, and so are some intonation errors in the Vocals. (I have just placed two chords after recording, because otherwise some Delays were cut at recording time).

I am using the Marshall Plexi 100 for Rhythm and the Mesa Boogie Model for Lead parts in my DT50/212 and HD500.

For both parts (Rhythm and Lead) I assigned some amp and FX-parameters to morph fluently into a different sound (there is some unwanted string noise in the tapping part of the second solo - one take - no fake.

I felt very good during recording at the rehearsal - playing the 2 solos was like flying with an aircraft over an endless field of clouds towards the sunset ...

In case you like the recording, I ask you to support us getting some gigs with my Band JUMP! (we are from Germany and we are playing Retro Cover Rock) by placing some comments (English language welcome) in the guestbook (Field: "Eintrag") of our Website:

Thanks for listening and support.

All the best wolbai.
