Somewhere I read/saw a video that each of the foreign made SE's are inspected/reviewed for QC and playability at the Maryland PRS factory before being released to retail.

Throughout the 'net there are many comments about quality control improvements for the SE's.

PRS SE models are ALL made in Korea and FWIW, can stand up against any brand in the same price range or even double the price range for fit and finish. Most SE models are sub $700 and are worth every penny. I own a Tremonti SE which only cost $525 and the quality is that of a $1500 guitar.

Just recently purchased this PRS SE Custom and I gotta tell of all the Semi hollowbodies I have played I love this thing smooth fretts, fast, nech and fretts have been dressed very good and smooth. Good tone. Freekin awesome. Its probably no comparison to thier or Gibsons 4k guitars but for what I paid and am ready for this thing is awesome.
