Relationship between bands?

brendonm has made some friends around here

Hey guys

once upon a time, i heard that there was a connection between blind guardian, iced earth, and demons and wizards...can anybody explain this connection to me? besides the fact that they play relatively the same kind of music hahah

Azrael has gained some favorable attention

demons and wizzards is basically a side project featuring Jon Schaffer of Iced
Earth and Hansi Kürsch of Blind Guardian

there you have the connection between those 3 bands
