Counts

Are counts how many times you should stroke the guitar strings with the pick?
For example, if it says that each bar has 4 counts, should i stroke the guitar strings 4 times for each bar/chord?

finger and wrist stretches

First Guitar

I'm new to the whole guitar playing experience and was wondering what a good starter guitar would be. I was looking at a Yamaha F325 acoustic guitar. Do you think this is a good starter guitar?
