Two of my solos, and riffs(Link Inside). Please your opinions!!

[beginner]

This a kind of jazz solo try. Unfortunately chord progression is not done by me, but by my teacher. (http://www.wire.fm/board/two-song.php?id=10010)

I know these 2 solos are nothing special, so please give some suggestions how to improve them, what I should or could change, or if I should continue like this!

I can't really critique this because it doesn't sound much like a guitar playing to me. Why's it sound like a piano?

Oh I forgot to say this. I wrote it on guitar and transfered it into power Tab(I used a Jazz guitar clean setting there and that sounds a bit like a piano), because I´m not able to record anything on my computer. Then I changed the midi file into a wav, ad then into mp3, but the quality suffered onto this.

I know many have problems with listening to a midi file because they can´t stand that tune, and as a result they can´t even critique, so probably I will have to record something that you can tell me your opinions.
