whats a trill, my bbok gives me a really vague definition of it and now matter how may times i read it it just don't make sense

A trill is when you hammer-on and pull-off over and over, most of the time quickly.

like 12tr13 would be hit twelve and then keep hammering on and pulling off on 13.

It's kinda diffuclt, especielly when you trill with pulse. Put you can also trill like tremolo-picking. Just hammering and pull off as fast as you can hand keep the pulse by changing notes with your left hand (if you're right handed)
