I play guitar, bass, drums, piano, sax, and cuatro (puertorican instrument, like a guitar) I enjoy playing piano, i mostly take out songs by ear etc. I've played piano 6 yrs, drums 6, guitar 9 months, cuatro 11 months, and sax 3 years. :D Again I enjoy learning some solos by ear from other songs.

I play a bit of keyboard. What I like about it most is that it's such a visual instrument.

My cousin has been playing for years and he is amazing. I love listning to him play because he makes it look so easy and plays really sloppy which kind of makes it more interesting to watch :D

I've got my 'unofficial' grade 7 in piano. I say unofficial because I didn't bother to take any of the conservatory tests, but I was playing at the grade 7 level. Grade 3 (probably 2) theory level too I think.

I don't think it'll ever be directly useful for me, nor will any of the other instruments my parents crammed down my throat, but it's like a general arts degree - opens your eyes to seeing more and being open minded to learning other concepts then you normally wouldn't.

I used to play the piano when I was much younger, and was quite good too. It's been years now since I've played, but I'm slowely trying to get back into it.

...I don't think it'll ever be directly useful for me, nor will any of the other instruments my parents crammed down my throat...
I think it will, since there's some things you can do on a given instrument you can't quite do on another, and these differences you might find useful,or they might make you look in a direction you otherwise wouldn't have.
I think.
I can play a coupla chords on a piano,but that's about it.But I will learn.

That's what I meant by 'won't be directly useful'. :D provoking musical well-roundedness, but never... applicable.
