squier pickups

I've got a problem with my squier tele's pickups. Sometimes the bridge pickup didn't sound and now, non of the pickups works. There's just a hum in my amp. I suppose the earth line is broken, or can it be the pickups. How much better are the pickups on a mexico fender then on the squiers? I've been thinking about buying a fender dlx nashville...

I have a Std. Tele that I've had for over a year and have had no problems with it. In my opinion the Telecaster has a very distinctive tone and I actually like the natural tone a bit over the Strat for my Blues playing.
I'm not to sure what can be the problem with your pickups other than a wire messing up.
