How do I use paypal and how does it work? Can anyone explain it? Do I pay for an account? What does it do?

Basically you OK the good people at paypal to suck funds out of your checking account or credit card which paypal then sends on to another nominated person via email. They have different tariffs for different services.

I have a US and a UK paypall account and I use it to send money back to my UK bank account with out incurring huge bank charges (crappy exchange rate though !)
