Hey, I need some feedback on this solo. It's me using my new way of playing, with the 'ol pinky. Let me know what you think...

You've kind of gotta hugely turn down all bass on your system or listen through headphones. I don't have a bass so I cranked the mids and lower eq on my guitar for the bass part and it turned out ****ty.

Oh hey, sorry, you've gotta right click and 'go save target as' ... then you can open it or save it to disk.

Not bad, got kind of a jazzy feel to it.
You need to bring up the guitar in the mix though. I can hardly hear it.
But good overall playing :D

Sounds good, nice and jazzy. What did you use to record it with?

Sonic Acid. I just spent 6 hours on another one, doing it up nice and proper-like and I lost pretty much the entire thing. It crashed and, seeing as it crashes often, my saved file that I deliberately updated every time I made a change didn't seem to have [stinking] saved. I still have the individual wave files but it'd take a long time to get the editing back to where it was and Holy [Cow] am I ever pissed. Time to upgrade to something a little more professional. It could be just my version but I'm willing to bet nobody who pays money for these types of programs uses Acid. What a joke.
It's 20 to 4 now and I have seriously been working on it since 10.
lol. man.

Thats harsh...
Still... I just got up from the computer and stood on an exposed wire from my alarm clock. Bzzzzzzz!
****ing electric shocks :(
I had my guitar in my hand... at least I didn't drop it.

dude.. that rocks!!!
Nice work man!
One thing tho - I'd work on making the guitar sound a little brighter.. it sounds good but with more of a separation it would SCREAM!

Hey thanks man. You're talking treble and such? It's party the distortion I've got, I hate it. In two months I'm going to buy some decent studio speakers and put some serious time into getting some ideas down. By that time I should be fluent in Logic.

cool man!!
Actually this is the first tune that someone posted on GT and I really liked. It's close to the style I'm into
A little bit too much soloing for my taste but it is okay.
What did you use for the drums?

hey thanks man. i just wanted to make it for the soloing bit, I had recently just started using my pinky finger ala classical hand positioning. I used a bunch of drum clips that i found on the internet somewhere. punched em into acid, that's all.
