ok, here it goes. i am brand new here first of all, and have had lessons for about almost two years. recently, i joined the jazz band at my middle school. i have a new U.S. highway 1 fat strat, and a new pro junior tube amp. i have to haul my and guitar (not all the time)and amp to and from school. now, i am ok with carrying the guitar, but the amp is starting to rip my arm out of my socket. the other day i was looking for a small cheap amp dolly (i am now broke from the amp). but all i could find were these huge bulky things. i started to think, and came up with what i absolutly want. i was thinking, 2 bolt on rubber stoppers for the front bottom of the amp, 2 small bolt on wheels for the back bottom of the amp, and 1 bolt on pull out handle. just think of a rolling backpack, or suite case. instead of the case, there would be an amp. i guess my question is, have you seen anything like this before? if so please tell me where i can find one like it. or you can just suggest something similar to it.

thanx

Welcome to GT Forum, Creed!

That sounds like a pretty good idea! I haven't seen such a kit in a store, but I think you could buy the parts to make such a thing fairly cheaply.

I didn't get the whole picture of what you want, but some of my friends added wheels to their amps, it's no big deal and you can do it yourself if you like doing stuff like that at home.

You might find that a dolly is actually cheaper than buying wheels to put on your amp. Take a look at this (http://www.houseoftools.com/product.htm?pid=169520).
