i woke up this morning feeling my fretting hands nerves ticking..almost all the time.

has anyone ever had this im pretty sure its got to do with over straining perhps..but i wasnt straining or giving alot of effort these pas days of practice...

anyway the reason for this question has any1 ever had this feeling, and does it go away.

[no i dont like doctors all the time- usually they just prescribe stuff]

What kind of feeling do you mean ? Could you describe it better ! It could be nothing to do with playing guitar !

If you don't get better in a couple of days , you HAVE to see a doctor.

It should be ok. I had that not long ago for a few days but i did stop doing it so often and then went completly. It does happen. I dont think its anything bad !

Yeah i get that feeling occasionally. I think its when you haven't played for awhile and your hands are tender. Maybe the fingers are swelling, and the rest is probably all in your mind

It could be your not properly placing your hand correctly on the neck maybe. That could seriously mess up your hands, if you dont hold your strumming hand right or your fretting hand, could mean trouble in the future.

My fingers twitch like that occasionally, my hands also tend to get shaky after playing for a long time too. I don't think it's anything serious to be worrying about.

What is wrong with seeing a doctor? Do you not have public health care or some sort of health plan? Better to be safe than sorry is what I always say, esp. when it comes to things that could affect my music.

no its not my playing hand or my fretting hand - theyre perfectly in position by now. and my fretting hand is always parallel to the fret board.

anyway..it doesnt matter now
