A month without Guitar :(

Dont no if you guys remember.. or care lol, but a month ago i posted how i sold all my guitars and was guitarless!!

Well I finally got one on thursday, a Gibson Les Paul 1994 Cherry Sunburst!

Man I suck right now! Dont even go that long without playing!

Tell me about it... even when i go on real long vacations i bring my guitar.... since about 3 years ago there hasnt been 1 day where i havent just touched my guitar. But congrats on the new guitar... what did u have before?

Where are you from, Axl, cuz my local guitar center JUST sold a guitar EXACTLY like that! Maybe just a coincidence...

Im from the UK, bought if from the USA ebay, serial number is 94009xxx which in my book makes it a 99 model?!?! But the seller said 94, either way Im happy! From Minneapolis I got it.

I trade Gibsons on ebay but in November I sold all four that I had at the same time so from then until now was me waiting on more arriving. I bought 2 other Gibson les paul standards, 78 and 83, and a les paul Classic premium plus!

Man even the basics I sucked on yesterday. Sweet child intro usin alternate picking, I played every note dead :( Am ok now though but the fast runs are still proving difficult, oh and my fingers have reverted back to the olden days where theyd blister after an hour! All n all it sucks!

How come you sold em all??? Sorry I missed the original post. I seem to remember you had an audition in an all female band, how did that go?

Erm.. might be a different 4 I was talkin about! I buy 4 at a time... got one of the current 4 and still waiting on the other 3.

Oh yea about that female band, well i met up with the bass palyer and shes cool. Me and her have similar tastes and are playing together, just sum metallica and guns covers. The singer and other guitarist however are bein a pain in tha ass! The are stuck in there ways with punk and girl riot bands so nothing much is happening :(

Me and the bass player are looking for another singer and drummer ourselves :)

Hmm... ebay.... but they take quite a large cut, well in the UK they do. If the guitars are cheap then ebays a bit pointless Id say.

Yeah I've looked on ebay in the past for Slash model Epi's. I bought mine bout 3 yrs go for £300 new n now on ebay they go for about £500. Not that I'd ever sell it.

Cool your from the UK slasher! Yea the last epi slash went for £550! And the last Gibson slash went unsold at £5,000!
