Made a new song! And my first solo! But should I post the file?

So I made an intro of a song, and I and some of my friends think it´s really cool, but I would like to hear your opinions on this intro and especially on my firts solo I´ve ever made(Maybe some advices for corrections, suggestions,..). It´s slow, but I quite like it.


But must I be afraid that there are some guys who would copy this and call it their own or could I without concerning send the Power Tab File I´ve just made to some guys in here? I only could send it on your E mail adress, or Icq or msn messenger, because I don´t know how it could work that everybody could download it immediatley.

Wow, dude, that lead riff harmonized very well. I liked it alot. That's EXTREMELY impressive for someone who has only played a year!!! That's pretty impressive songwriting for someone who's played 3! Kudos, dude.

to ross: I have one career guitar, which is quite alright, and one really cool looking and really good sounding HOHNER Revelation RTS, and it´s especially good for the sound I prefer, Metal! But it´s also makes a good sound for other music styles.

yeah I´ve just opened the mail and heard it. I really liked it, especially the melody and I liked the parts which you would sweep on guitar. Did you write it on the piano?
PS: One part (measure 10(ending) and 11(beginning)) reminds me on the first two arps in Eugenes Trick Bag.

No, I actually wrote it on powertab. Sad thing is, I can't play it on any instrument. Wrote it, can't play it. Maybe I'll learn it someday. But thanks, dude, yeah, I'm kind of proud of that thing, because it turned out exactly how I wanted it.

Dude, concerning powertab, I can only recommend downloading it for this reasons:

1.) The songs you download are mostly more correct and complete than many normal tabs in the web, and also include real notes(So rhytmn is also there), which might be useful for some keyboarder who wants to play a guitar solo or something.
2.) You can play the song in midi format and theres a red signatur at a note, when it is being played at the moment. So you can learn songs easier because often rythmn and accents are difficult to find out with a normal tab.
3.) You can also edit your own stuff, your own licks and riffs, and jam along them. This avoids that you forget some of your riffs and licks(that happened a lot to me, because sometimes a good riff is only cool, because of one detail, and you forget this.
4.) Mostly there is also the bass tab of the song included.

U c where on every1s post theres som stuff it says like info.... email etc... well one of the choices is quote - (the bottom rite corner of the post) clik it then it will take u to where you write your messag.... with the quote there....
