The Velvet Revolver albums been delayed indefinitely cos of Weilands drug problem/law problems/rehab escapings. Sorry.

Im looking forward to Oasis' comeback, Noel says its gonna be a 10 song psychadelic-rockfest. No ballads. Cooooool.

Pain of Salvation - BE.

Most ambitious thing ever in progressive metal. It was performed live as a musical, with Daniel Gildenlöw (guitarist/vocalist) in the role of God. It's a massive concept album thing that deals with creation and lots of Biblical stuff. I could almost commit suicide for not having seen it performed live, but hopefully there will be a DVD.

Velvet Revolver
and I do believe Black Label Society might be recording some new stuff.

I'm sitting on pins and needles waiting for Velvet Revolver! I've heard a few horrible bootlegg recordings of a live show and from what I could hear they are very tight. I'm also looking forward to the new Aerosmith album. I don't know enough about anybody new to look forward to anyone else. I've alway's loved slash is why I can't wait for the Velvet Revolver album. I've only disliked him once(and it probably wasn't even his fault). I was going to see AC/DC in concert in Memphis, Tn. and Slash and the Snakepit were supposed to open for them. That's the main reason I wanted to go, but they ended up canceling for some reason and some other small band did the opening show. Oh well, maybe they'll come around again.

Cog's debut album. After releasing two EP's in 2002 (Just Visiting Pt1 & Pt2) and another last year, Open Up (a Leftfield cover) I can't wait for their first album.

They are constantly being compaired to Tool and even though they are always stating that they are quite different in ways to Tool, they have definate similarities. I suggest Tool fans to have a listen to their stuff.

Man what are you on about? Ive heard several performances by the new GnR and they are great. Yea I prefer the old line up with slashs style of play, but ther new GnR have some great tunes. Madagscar, The Blues, Chinese Democracy, they kick ass man!! Madagascar is, and dont hold to this, in my mind, better than November Rain, it aint as cheesy and the lyircs are spot on! And... Axl laughed at suggestions that the 4 or 5 songs hes previewed live are the best.. the best is yet to come :)

I think this year is it, all or nothing, if the new album comes out it will be this year!

I almost forgot. Devolved are releasing a new album this year. They were voted Australia's best metal band in 2001 for their great album 'Technologies'. If this new one's any thing like that, it's going to be awesome. They have a very unique sound with some weird effects and one of the most unorthodox yet fastest drummers around (he does blast beats with right hand on snare and left on hi-hat).

I suggest anyone who's into metal, give them a listen.

At about 2 min the amazing double kick drumming comes in and also one of the best guitar effects.

Or just go to http://www.devolved.net and download samples.
