Hello, new guy here =)

Hi guys, I just want to introduce myself. My name is Niles, I'm 23 years old, and have been playing guitar for about 11 years. I enjoy listening to and playing any and all types of music, though my main focuses are rock, jazz and classical-- with emphasis on rock hehehe.

I have been surfing this site for several months, and have learned many of the licks hosted on this site, so I decided I should actually join the community =] I have been a very active in another online guitar-based community (1100 posts in a year ... whew), but unfortunately it is getting overrun with immature members who would rather argue than share tips and tricks (but hey, it was a guitar tab archive so what should I expect? :P). Guitartricks promises to be very informative, and the community as a whole seems much more friendly =]

That wasn't exactly the most friendly greeting, iamthe_eggman. lol. Banning should really only be reserved for the most extreme circumstances. You don't want members losing faith in the moderators due to abusive authority.
