How's this for a fantasy metal song?

Here's my little rip on power/fantasy metal. It's called, "I Love Monkeys":

I LOVE MONKEYS!!!!
WELL….

They have prehensile tails
And prehensile feet.
I hope that someday soon a Monkey and I will meet!

And they swing from their trees
Even so they still find time to pick each other’s fleas!

A MONKEY!
WAS A HERO!
AND HE FOUGHT…WITH THE HEART…OF AN APE!!!

AND A MONKEY!!!
DOWN AT ZERO!!!!
IS A SIMEAN FORCE TAKING SHAPE!!!

HE RODE!!! ON THE WINGS!!! OF A DEMON!!!!
YES HIS RIDE!!! WAS THE BACK!!! OF A BAT!

AND THE MONKEY!!! HE HAS TOLD US…THE MONKEY IS ALL THAT!!!

YES THE MONKEY IS ALL THAT!!!

He had golden bananas
And never claimed submission
We all bowed before his orangutan disposition!!!!
Yes…

I knew this monkey
when his journey begun
Everyone said that he couldn’t be THE ONE!
No…

BUT THE MONKEY!!!!
HE WAS VALIANT!!!
AND HE WALKED…DOWN THE PATH…OF THE APE!!!!

AND A MONKEY!!!
FULL OF TALENT!!!
IS A MONKEY WHO IS WEARING A CAPE!!!
A MONKEY WEARING A CAPE!!!

It's a work in progress, I hope to finish by sometime next week. We're gonna put about 15 obnoxious drum, guitar, and bass solos in there, so it should be pretty funny musically (if not lyrically).

im going to be truthfull about this and this isnt meant to be takin offensive...in my humble opinion if the guitar riffs and other instrument riffs are good enough to cancel out the not so great lyrics then good for it dude
im aware that you might be doin the song for sh!ts and gigles..lol

No, see, that's the beauty of it. The riffs WON'T be good enough to cancel out the lyrics. It's meant to be terrible, and I think it may be just about at the level of crap that I want it. Thanks dude!

I went through a phase of 'sh*ts and giggles' songs(not that its catagory is a phase).
listen to 'Dying Fetus's 'kill your mother and rape your dog'.Well thats death metal,but still funny.

If your sound is what I'm thinking its going to be,It should be very 'obnoxious'.Full of aimless solo's 'wacky' chord proggressions(if at all) and a 20+ year old male voice that hasn't cracked yet...well mabey not all that,but definitley obnoxious.

haha, exactly. We're just gonna do a generic speed metal chord progression though. Something Iron Maiden-like. The vocals, though, are sung like the illegitimate son of Ozzy and the guy from Rush.
