Im only 20 but already Ive started thinking about life, and the meaning of it all! Its weird because every now and then I have little philosophical debates in my head as I drive my car or day dream during the commercials on tv.
What have you guys learnt? Any good advice to make life better!
So far Ive learnt, and dont laugh!
1. "Wait a day to buy" - If you to buy something then buy it tomorrow! If you still want it and need it then fair enough but if the next day you dont bother then youve saved you money!
2. Ive learnt that to ignore my girlfriend every month for a couple of days in a row because all hell breaks loose :(

At age 16, I've already managed to depress myself too much thinking about the future. Hell, I was already worried when I was like 12...

Listen to the 'Sunscreen Song.' Although you may laugh the guy does have a few good points in there.

LOL
I sometimes feel that I'm getting more stupid as I'm growing.
I should go for an IQ test to check that out ... The last one I did , I scored around 125.

Last time I took one, I scored 131. That was a while ago though. Plus, they said if you were below a certain age (which I was), you should add a bit to your score or something. I dunno. I feel those tests are pretty useless anyway.

And all my life I've been haunted by a question I was asked when I was 22 .... "If you're so f____'n smart, why ain't you rich?"
I know the answer, but I still find the question annoying.

Are you really in Mensa? Or is that just a lie? If it's not a lie, you're one smart canadian.

Ahhh, Mensa's easy. For Canadians.
I think IQ tests are a bunch of tripe. Who in their right minds would put up a free IQ test on the 'net and have it tell people that they were dumb? If you have half a brain, of course it'll tell you that you're IQ is over 100. Have you ever heard of someone scoring below, say, 110 on an IQ test on-line?
I also think that telling people your IQ test scores is a bit gauche.

IQ tests are strange. I did one test and got about 90. I then did another IQ test from the same company that did these IQ books and i scored 155 :)

I think the 90 was more accurate.

Actually the average IQ in the United States is 98, and Canada is 97.
So anyone with half a brain would score over 100 is not a logical statement.

There's a list of countries and their National IQs.

Well, if you read my original post I said online IQ tests, not actual psychometrist administered tests. I was trying to refute the relevance of online IQ tests to actual intelligence. Online IQ tests are a means of marketing (esp. free ones); they make you feel smart, and then you want to join whatever club/organization/etc. that offers the test.
Obviously, average IQ tests will be around 100 - that's the very definition of the score 100; that the average person has an IQ of 100, and all other IQ scores are relative to that.

Funny thing I heard.Your I.Q drops around 20 points when you go on a vacation...wierd.Mabey its your brain taking a vacation of its own.
Theres been debate on the valdity of I.Q tests for a long time.Theres a big difference between knowlege and intelligence...ones gained and the other seems inherent. The I.Q tests ive seen focus on knowlege and not intellect.I doubt they get to the real depth of each individuals mind.
And I.Q stands for intelligence quotiant?Seems to miss the mark.
Who cares...if I.Q status made any significant impact stephen hawkings would be president.

"On a cold day, a bird landed on the ground behind a cow. The cow crapped, burying the bird up to it's neck in sh!t. After a few minutes, the bird decided that it wasn't such a bad situation - it was warm for the first time all day. So it started to sing. A cat heard the singing, and came to investigate. The cat pulled the bird out of the pile of sh!t, and ate him."
Life Lessons:
Someone who sh!ts on you isn't necessarily your enemy.
Someone who pulls you out of the sh!t isn't necessarily your friend.
If you're up to your neck in sh!t, but you're happy, celebrate quietly!
