Am I remembering correctly that you have one of those little battery powered marshall amps? If so, I was just curious if you've ever tried hooking up your POD or anything like that to it.

Yep, it works.... however the sound it make is almost entirely devoid of bass frequencies which tends to make one model sound very similar to another !

a friend of mine has a small 8"? marshall practice amp, and that's what happens when he tries to use his POD through it. 'nother question...... do the different brands of mini amps sound much different?

I have a Fender mini twin and have had two of the mini Marshall's, they sound pretty similar to me !! They have a gain control, a master volume and a tone control which all work but they are pretty limited. They are very portable but not really loud enough to use out side.
