I've got a marshall 1960A cab and it can be played at 4ohm's or 16ohm's, and 8ohm's stereo. It's a wonderful sounding cab. I have it matched with a Peavey XXX head, which has a switch to let you go from 4-8-16ohm's.

like this what does it mean. Somebody sum it up for me.
Behringer's straight BG412F and slanted BG412H combine perfectly to form a classic double stack. Each of them features four custom-made 100-Watt 12" speakers and an easily accessible switch for 16-Ohm mono or 2 x 8-Ohm stereo operation. Behringer's innovative BG412S sports four heavy-duty 12" Jensen ® speakers plus a slanted front and outwardly angled top speakers to enhance its innovative surround circuitry, optimized to ensure extreme enhancement of the stereo image as well as a super-concrete center position in stereo mode (2 x 8-12 Ohms), and can also optionally be run in mono mode (8 Ohms). All three models offer a second 1 /4 " jack, which serves as the right channel input in stereo mode or as an output for connecting additional cabinets in mono mode.
So could i use a 16,8,or 4 ohm head with this

Digging a little deeper...
These 4x12 cabs are simply a pair of 2x12 boxes stuck together, with some switching hardware provided to connect them, or keep them separate. With the amp in MONO mode, there is only one output signal, so both halves of the cab need to be tied together. The switch connects them in series, so the two 8 Ohm half-cabs become one 16 Ohm cab. Read this (http://www.guitartricks.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=3383) to see how to calculate net impedance.
