build up the great sound!!!

how can i get the best tuning in the amp for the best clean sound and than add to it distortion and fx
(i usually plays blues and rock)

it mostly depends on the type of amp, what type of sound you're trying to achieve, etc. My advice would be that if you're trying to get the most out of your distortion pedal then turn your amp's gain waaaay far down if not off completely. Using your amp's gain with distortion means you'll get a pretty nasty, low-definition sound most of the time.

other than that, like in terms of your bass/mids/highs, it all just depends on what kind of sound you want to get.
