I am debating on buying a 1999 Les Paul Standard Double Cut Plus, the guitar is priced at 1000.00, It's used but, it hasn't got a scratch on it, it even still has the plastic on the electronics hole cover!
Just wondering if anyone else has any experience with these guitars? Do you think it's worth 1000.00?
Would like to get your opinions!
Thanks, The Razors Egde

Check out http://www.harmony-central.com for reviews. Most of the reviews have the orignal prices paid and a good overall assesment of the instrument.

Tap our own Incidents Happen for that. He has one; he loves it. My own recommendation would be an old Yamaha SBG1000 (http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/Data4/Yamaha/SG1000-01.html), but for $1000, you're not spending much more than you would for an SBG.

I think musicians friend had a new one for sale for like $1400 so I don't think it's a bad deal at all. Any money you save is a good thing. OH damn.... Now I'm sounding like Martha Stewart.... that's NOT a good thing...
