I used to be well into stuff like Ministry, NIN, Front 242. Most of it doesnt seem to have dated well. I think this is partly due to music technology having gotten a lot more sophisticated recently. the Young Gods are sometimes classed as industrial but i reckon not. their sound is way too sophisticated and still holds up well

yeah industrial i think is awesome but when you hear some cool guitars in it, it is hard to get tabs for the song and plus is hard to sperate from the electronic stuff but other thatn that its awesome man

I love industrial...but yeh it is hard to get tabs for it, I think mainly because their is so much electronic sounds in it and all...maybe you can tell me if this is true...I heard that Rammstein are made up of some ex Kmfdm members...know if thats true?

KMFDM broke up a few years ago... they reformed a short bit later with a few new people as MDFMK. Go figure. All the guys from Rammstein are from former east germany and I seem to recal that they've been together since the early 90's. It's nice to hear other people like them, I thought I was the only person left in the US who thought they were pretty cool.

Does anyone else remember The Machines Of Loving Grace? They got some airplay back in '93/'94, and I suppose they could be considered along the same vein as Danzig, Ministry, etc. "Butterfly Wings" was probably their best song, IMHO, the lyrics in the chorus ring true to hundreds of thousands of disaffected goths worldwide, and they also had a song on the Crow soundtrack called Golgotha Tenement Blues that's pretty cool.

...and APC's guitarist, Troy Van Leeuen, formerly of ENEMY and Failure, is now in Queens of the Stone Age, which is comprised of other guys from Kyuss, among others. The guy he was in Failure with (Ken Andrews) produced the first A Perfect Circle CD, Tommy Lee's Methods Of Mayhem project, Tenacious D, and a host of other albums... I think band members in general are swtiching around nowadays... it seems like if you really tried hard enough you could probably find a link between Weezer and Danzig.
