I used to have a marshall AVT with inbuilt digital effects. In a word they were awesome!!! But now i have a full marshall stack and the reverb isnt right!! So what would you recomend? Whats good and whats not. And is delay the same as reverb? Do Boss delay pedals have inbuilt reverb?!?!

To the best of my knowledge, Reverb keeps the sound floating in the background, and delay is exactly what it says. When you strike a note, depending on how MUCH delay, the note will sound (for example) 1/2 a second later.

Yeah but isnt reverb the sound goin "dingggggggggggg" and delay going "ding..g...g...g...g...g", staggered? Beacuse i want a delay pedal but it seems as tho they are described as the same.

Yeah, you're right, Axl.
Delay = DING, DINg, DIng, Ding, ding, ing, ng, g...
Reverb = Diiinnnggg...
Some delay pedals have reverb built into them. Just go into a guitar shop and tell them what you want. They should be able to help you. ("I want a delay pedal, preferably with built in reverb")

I use an RP200 for effects. It has both delay and reverb built in as well as many other effects. All for just like $150. Good deal, if you ask me. I've used it at gigs and it's never failed me.
